Ride almost 240 miles of near perfect tarmac, touring amazing countryside and get the opportunity to explore three of Europe’s iconic cities; London, Bruges and Brussels.

After starting your ride at the Greenwich Observatory, where you’ll get an incredible skyline view of London you’ll head through the Kent countryside. You’ll encounter some oast houses dating back to the early-mid 1800’s before conquering the North Downs and reaching the white cliffs of Dover. After catching the ferry over to Calais, you’ll get a well earned rest before day two.

Now in France you’ll head towards Dunkirk beach, which in the Spring of 1940 witnessed the “great escape” (of over 338,000 troops) that helped Britain avoid defeat in the Second World War. Around the middle of day two you’ll cross the border from France into Belgium before heading to your romantic resting point of Bruges. Explore this beautiful city which hosts an outstanding ensemble of architecture with the Centre labelled as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 3 will take you through an abundance pretty and flat countryside where you’ll commonly see the incredibly muscular Belgian Blue cattle, google it…you won’t believe your eyes! Soon enough you’ll begin your approach to the political powerhouse of a city that is Brussels and you’ll complete your victorious ride when you reach the famously historic Grand-Place. Now it’ll be time for a well earned array of Belgian beer, frite, moules and steak! They even do a champagne beer ladies.

This is a perfect follow up challenge for those who’ve already accomplished London to Paris and/or for those looking to experience an abundance of history, culture and countryside whilst riding.
